Warranty

  • While not affecting any non-excludable warranty or guarantee implied by law, Simplife does not give any warranty that the Products are fit for any particular purpose (unless explicitly discussed with Simplife prior to the sale of goods). Simplife does not warrant products for outdoor use unless specifically indicated on the product page.
  • Improper use, abuse, negligence, commercial use or use within a rental environment will void the warranty. Any warranties implied by law will end immediately if the Products become defective or damages as a consequence of misuse, lack of proper care and maintenance, commercial use, use within a commercial or rental environment or handling in transit.
  • Warranty claims must be placed in writing and addressed to Simplife. Simplife will assess each case and comply with its legal obligations.
  • In the event of a warranty claim, it is the responsibility of the customer to return the component or product(s) back to Simplife for assessment. The warranty does not cover costs associated with warranty service which includes, but is not limited to, transportation costs to and from our store/factory, costs of removal, or re-installation of product, or any incidental or consequential damages.
  • Australian custom-made products come with a 10-year structural warranty. This warranty does not cover:
    (a) normal or fair wear and tear
    (b) damage arising from abnormal use, or abuse
    (c) goods which have not been maintained, or which have been modified or
    (d) a natural characteristic of the material used.
  • “Structure” means the frame of a furniture item. The structure fails if the product cannot be used for its fundamental purpose, fair wear and tear excluded. Fabric/leather coverings, finishing stains/coats and cane/wicker are excluded from any warranty provided by the Supplier.
  • Please refer to the shipping and insurance terms for information regarding damage during transit.
Australian Made Sofa

Simplife provides the following warranties to the original purchaser, provided it was bought from Simplife and proof of purchase is presented.

  1. Frame Warranty

The internal frame construction of Simplife sofa is covered against manufacturing and material defects for ten (10) years. This is provided that the defect is not a result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used.

  1. Leather Warranty

The leather upholstery of Simplife sofa is covered against manufacturing and material defects for a period of three (3) years. This is provided that the defect is not a result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used.

  1. Fabric Warranty

The fabric upholstery of Simplife sofas is covered against manufacturing and material defects for a period of three (3) years. This is provided that the defect is not a result of normal wear and tear, and the sofa has been used in accordance with our performance ratings and care instructions.

  1. Seating Foam Warranty

All foam used in the seat cushions of Simplife sofa is covered against material or manufacturing defects for a period of either ten (10) years or Lifetime, depending on the foam used. Softening of foam should be expected as a result of normal use and is not to be confused with loss of resilience.

  1. Component Warranty

Suspension system: ten (10) years against manufacturer fault.
Sofa bed mechanism and sofa bed mattress: three (3) years against manufacturer fault.

  1. All other components not listed above (e.g.: stitching, sofa base dust cover, sofa back cushion, comfort layer foam etc.) are warranted against failure due to manufacturing fault for a period of 12 months.
  2. This warranty does not cover items used in commercial or rental situations unless that information was clearly indicated at the time of the purchase.

Simplife provides the following warranties to the original purchaser, provided it was bought from Simplife and proof of purchase is presented.

  1. Leather Warranty

The leather upholstery of Simplife bed is covered against manufacturing and material defects for a period of three (3) years. This is provided that the defect is not a result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used.

  1. Fabric Warranty

The fabric upholstery of Simplife bed is covered against manufacturing and material defects for a period of two (2) years. This is provided that the defect is not a result of normal wear and tear, and the sofa has been used in accordance with our performance ratings and care instructions

  1. Component Warranty

Storage Bed mechanism is covered by a one (1) year manufacturer fault warranty.

  1. All other components not listed above (e.g.: stitching, dust cover, comfort layer foam etc.) are warranted against failure due to manufacturing fault for a period of 12 months.
  2. This warranty does not cover items used in commercial or rental situations unless that information was clearly indicated at the time of the purchase.

Simplife provides the following warranties to the original purchaser, provided it was bought from Simplife and proof of purchase is presented.

  1. Structural Warranty

Simplife offers a ten (10) years structural warranty and is subject to the following disclaimers and clarifications.

This warranty covers defects in relation to the construction of the item such as loose joins.  The warranty does not cover timber ‘defects’ otherwise referred to as ‘natural features’ nor does it cover signs of timber movement which relate to the environment and the situation that item is placed in.  This is something that Simplife has no control over.

A construction defect does not include breakages where there is evidence that an item has been mistreated.

The warranty also does not cover against normal signs of wear and tear, scratches, burns or from liquids being left on the item. Nor does it cover bleaching and crack from direct sunlight.

  1. Doors and Drawers

This warranty does not cover doors or drawers on cabinets that are not aligned when placed into position.  If this happens it is nearly always caused by a floor that is not perfectly level.  All items have doors and drawers fitted and aligned in the factory on a perfectly level surface so adjustments may need to be made on site such as putting a small packer under one back corner.

  1. This warranty does not cover items used in commercial or rental situations unless that information was clearly indicated at the time of the purchase.

Caesarstone offers 10 years warranty to the original owner of a single-family residence and goes into effect on the original date of installation. Regarding any Simplife products made in Caesarstone, the warranty information refers to Caesarstone terms and conditions. You must register with Caesarstone to activate your warranty.

All other imported products not listed above are warranted against failure due to manufacturing fault for a period of 12 months. This warranty does not cover:

(a) normal or fair wear and tear
(b) damage arising from abnormal use, or abuse or
(c) goods which have not been maintained, or which have been modified.
